Celebrate summer in downtown London with River District Movie Nights in Harris Park.

Presented in partnership with the River District, this free outdoor film series features four iconic movies that celebrate adventure, music, sport and London's bicentennial.

Join them on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, for the screening of

Bicentennial Man (1999) as they celebrate 200 years of London through four memorable films, great community and summer evenings under the stars along the Thames River.

What to know before you go:

River District Movie Nights are free to attend; no tickets or registration required.

Pre-show entertainment begins at 7:30 PM and includes live music and London

Bicentennial trivia, presented with support from the Paul Seed Fund.

Movies begin at dusk, typically between 8 PM and 9 PM.

BYO: They'll bring the screen and the movie, you bring the blankets and/or lawn chairs

Bring your own snacks and drinks or purchase refreshments from the on-site concession stand.

Washrooms, concession service and additional bike parking are available on site. *Events are weather dependent. If a movie is cancelled due to weather, it will be shown the following Wednesday. Watch the City's Facebook and Instagram channels for updates.
